The 250 kW array generates roughly 33,300 units a month against a load profile — kitchens, lighting, air conditioning across multiple halls — that runs heaviest through exactly the hours the array is producing. For an institution that answers to a committee rather than a single owner, the decision rested as much on the quality of the structure and the service commitment behind it as on the payback figure.
