Production facilities are difficult sites for a reason that has nothing to do with engineering: the plant cannot stop. Every phase of this 480 kW installation was sequenced around shifts, with structural work, mounting and cabling planned so that no production hour was lost to the solar contractor.
At this scale the array runs continuously beneath the facility’s own demand, so generation is absorbed in real time at the highest tariff slab with nothing exported at a discount. The system produces roughly 64,000 units a month. Monitoring is fitted at string level, so a shortfall on any part of the array is visible to us before it becomes visible on the bill.
